Default Rego Request - FJI931 21/12

Hi All,

Can someone please confirm the Rego of FJI931 for 21/12.
I just looked at planefinder (12.20am 22/12) - overflying Syd for Melb, and their sytem was trying to tell me that

FJI931 Air Pacific
(Pacific)
Rego: N645MC
HEX: A5AD44

That Rego belongs to Atlas Air B747-446.

Does that mean that Atlas has a B747-400 setup as Passenger Cabin and only uses underfloor for freight? Does that also mean it was Leased / Chartered to move the backlog of passengers?

Or is it an error?

Please Advise

Stuart

Correct Stuart, N465MC is an Atlas passenger 747-400 and has been covering Air Pacific flights whilst DQ-FJL and DQ-FJK were in Singapore undertaking C-Checks. Also Euro Atlantic CS-TFM 777-200 was covering their flights too.

The flight crew were asked if the passengers were packed away in boxes down the back....
