Unhappy Perth Australia Day Mallard crash

Here is an ABC news article including video from two different angles. It looks as though the aircraft banked too steeply for its low speed and simply stalled, with insufficient height to regain controlled flight:

From initial reports the display box stipulated was too small for what the aircraft needed, throw in a high density altitude and a pilot not used to doing such displays and you have the unfortunate outcome. In such conditions you need every bit of lift you can get, none of the pictures show any flap use for instance. There are a few similarities with the RBR incident which had a much happier outcome.
