Not a silly question at all - I've wondered the same thing. Maybe the pilots from the new carrier purchasing it? I don't know but it's a good question Chris.

It depends where its going and who is buying it.
OGB was flown out by its new owners I believe. The previous ones that headed for the desert were flown by QF crews. |

That is true Brian, I never really understood that either. Maybe it just had to do with timing or perhaps they wanted a newer build frame with less cycles.

OGF is currently sitting in the same position as the other retired 763's stripped of all titles except rego. (Which is still Aussie....VH-OGF)

VH-OGF will leave our shores today at 1400. I think it is now N318CM.
