A new series called Alaska Aircrash Investigations has commenced.

This 6 part series follow NTSB investigators in Alaska.

The first episode follows a C206 Air Taxi impact with terrain.

In the Alaskan summer there is an average of one air crash per day.

Something for the PVR Mega Breakdown has an episode on scrapping a B747.

May of already been shown but I suggest you program your PVR for ONE 20:30 -21:30 Wednesday on you might pick it up as a repeat.

Main source of the story appears to be the doomed Air Asia Indonesia aircraft that flew with a fault for 12 months:
