Default QF seat selection

Hi everyone.

I have an upcoming QF trip going from OOL-SYD-HBA. I can select my individual seat on the OOL-SYD sector, but the SYD-HBA sector only lets me select 'window or isle' as a preference. Does anyone now why this is? The SYD-HBA flight is a QantasLink Boeing 717 service, but I've always been able to select individual seats on the HBA 717 flights up until now.

Thanks in advance.

You have one of the older 717s operating I suggest, which have always had those options only for seat selection and no business class. Row 1 on those birds before the reconfig was devine

Yup, Mark is correct. The specific seats will only be selectable at check-in, from memory, so get in early on the online check-in... 23hr 59min before your OOL-SYD departs is my recommendation!!

Thanks guys. I thought this may be the case, BUT Qantas are selling business class on this flight - I tried to do a dummy booking on their website. Strange...
