Interesting Greg. Before checking the map of North America I thought that Brownville was a long way east of the direct track from SJO to OAK, but Mexico and the other countries in Central America are south east of California, not south. In fact, SJO is on the same latitude as the Florida pan-handle. So, BRO is not too far out of the way, especially when travelling to northern California.

SDM to OAK 720km

SJO to OAK via SDM 4946

SJO to BRO 2454
BEO to OAK 2711

SJO to OAK via BRO 5165

Around 220km diff

The other ex AA bird that arrived last year used QQ9810

QQ9100 is currently in Oakland and scheduled to leave for Honolulu in around 5hrs.

Now scheduled to leave OAK at 2.40pm PST Thursday, already past that time. It was showing as 7hr 40m late.

QQ9100 is still in OAK

I wonder if it will be a daylight delivery with the appropriate press to greet the first E190 in QFLink livery ?
