VH-FVU has been doing CBR-SYD flights today, so it is in service, however VH-FVM ferried out of Canberra on the 28th to Brisbane and does not appear to have flown since.

Thanks Stefan! When's NXR looking at starting to earn her stripes? Surely the pre-service can't be taking all this time?

Rowan,

I have been told that NXR is due to depart to Perth at 1430 tomorrow.

Also VH-NJI which is a re-reg of one of the Riau Airlines RJ100 (Ex. PK-RAZ and VH-NBK) being stored in Adelaide has been in the hanger for the past couple of months being prepared for entry into the Cobham. I have heard that it is to depart on the 15th. I did see a RJ100 in the hanger on ANZAC Day but wasn't sure if it was VH-NJY or VH-NJI.

Cheers Stefan! I notice on flightaware NXR is on her second in-service rotation to PBO, just about to land back in PER. Is there much chance of a couple more B717s coming through to QF at all?

Hi Rowan.

I am not sure if any more are coming through to QF, I supose it is more down to where they can be used. However I think a few of the regional ports are now expanding their runways and terminal facilities to cater for jet aircrat (I stand corrected!). I know a couple here in SA are in the rebuilding stage, Prominent Hill runway extension is just about complete, the current extended length has allowed F100 flights to start Adelaide-Prominent hill srrvices twcie a day. VH-XWT has been doing the honurs the past couple of weeks. Also I think Port Lincoln is goin through a terminal rebuilding stage, I am not sure on runway there though. I think it got extended etx just before the DHC8-400's started there (again I stand corrected).

A6-EGP 777-300ER Emirates has been delivered, so there's no reason to think that she won't be visiting various Aussie ports in the coming weeks.
