HI All,

This just came through on a news.com.au feed:

Quote:
Qantas has issued a mayday call after a plane reported engine failure while on its way to Sydney from Auckland.

Paramedics from NSW are on standby at Sydney Airport after the alert was issued by flight QF144 from Auckland to Sydney at around 2:10pm.

The flight was scheduled to land at 3.10pm but is expected to land at 3:26pm according to FlightRadar24.

It was delayed at Auckland Airport by 55 minutes.

Flight is apparently QF144 - currently on final 34L
