Actually very interesting as i have noticed over past few weeks FIFO into BNE from WOL.In today's Courier Mail there is a article about Pelair SF340 flights have already commenced out of WOL to EMD via BNE.They have then said that QFlink are also planning 70 seater Q400 flights as well.

So it appears as though Skytrans have also jumped on the bandwagon as well.

From the SMH:
Quote:
QantasLink already operates 55 and 70-seater aircraft out of Illawarra and the council is in talks with The Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) about approvals for larger aircraft after a study showed widening the Illawarra airstrip would allow 100-seater aircraft to land.
When did QF start back in Wollongong, and how can they be using 70-seaters if they're still working with CASA for an exemption!?

Is there anything of note expected to be in Sydney tomorrow? Myself and a fellow Canberra spotter will be around tomorrow, keep an eye out for a white Lancer with ACT plates at the mound and beach.
