Default QF issues at LAX right now?

Wondering what's going on at LAX atm. Coming up on 1am local and not a single QF bird is in the air? 94 left the gate about 11pm local and taxied out for takeoff before returning to the gate. QF12 744 came in from JFK and after unloading it went to the remote stand (normally it stays put before becoming QF16). QF12 380 was only towed to TBIT at 12:15am local and is still sitting there. No sign of QF16 going anywhere soon while the 744 is out at the remote stand.

Just a bad run of tech issues across all planes perhaps?

QF12 has departed and is currently 2 hours west of LAX with an ETA in SYD of 9:00 am local - 2 hours 40 minutes behind schedule. Neither QF94 or QF16 has departed LAX with QF16 not on the Brisbane International arrivals for tomorrow and QF15 not on tomorrow's departures. So it looks as though the Brisbane flight is not operating.

Information on QF94 due to leave LAX on Sunday 7/5/17. There is no mention of QF16 but QF1 & QF10 have also been cancelled.

Quote:
QANTAS A380 VH-OQL preparing to operate QF94 Los Angeles – Melbourne twice returned to the ramp at Los Angeles before passengers were offloaded and the flight delayed overnight.

QANTAS A380 VH-OQC arrived into Dubai in the early hours of this morning as QF1 from Sydney (depart Sydney 7th May), however the onward service to London Heathrow was cancelled due to a technical issue. This means today’s QF10 London Heathrow – Dubai sector is also cancelled.

Not sure what will happen with QF93 today either then. I haven't seen them move an A380 down to MEL from SYD this morning so it might be delayed / cancelled too?

Does QF16 not operate on Sunday nights out of LAX? Seems odd to leave the 747 sitting there for an extra day doesn't it?

QF94D is about 2.5 hours into its flight to MEL and due to arrive there around midnight tonight. QF93 is just airborne out of MEL for LAX.

VH-OQG lost number 4 engine about two hours out of LAX and returned overnight, more chaos for Qantas in LAX, and no doubt elsewhere given the tight schedules.

QFA16 from LAX to BNE Diverted to Noumea, http://flightaware.com/live/flight/Q...620Z/KLAX/NWWW unsure of reason but continued to YBBN an hour or so later http://flightaware.com/live/flight/Q...145Z/NWWW/YBBN

QF16 went to Noumea due to the fog surrounding the Brisbane area this morning. Many diversions as well as that, most notably Air Canada into the Gold Coast

The delayed QF94 has just passed Norfolk Island and is due to arrive in MEL at around 22:30 local. Not sure of the registration but possibly VH-OQB which operated Saturday's QF93 from MEL to LAX and could have been turned around quickly.

Saturday's QF94 due into MEL tomorrow, Monday left LAX about 30 minutes late and looks to be the A380 that would have operated QF12 which has been cancelled according to FlightAware.

Would QANTAS keep a spare A380 engine in LAX that they could use on VH-OQG?
