Smile No news or images of VH-ZNJ in yssy yesterday

I was so surprised to see there are no news or images of new Boeing 787-9 (VH-ZNJ) landed, taxied and entered in Qantas Hanger after it flew non stop from London to Sydney yesterday. The media news on tv were very short one and there were not any interesting news about this flight. So I would love to see or hear news or images taken by any aviation buffs. It would be much appreciated. Thank you. I am hoping that Kurt will read my message.

Both Ch7 & Ch10 had two minute reports on the flight with ABC running for around 30secs. Both Ch7 & Ch10 had reporters onboard.

Based on the type of news that ran yesterday, BUSH FIRES ... , the flight was lucky not to be bumped down to 30secs on each channel

Yes Cliff, there are no photos on Airliner Net either, apart from ones taken at Everett.

Go to the QANTAS News Room latest Media Release. At the bottom of the page there are links to photos and video of the departure from LHR, flight, landing in SYD, tow into hanger 96 and other historical information. There are also photos on the QANTAS Twitter site under the promo for the coin collection.

See" The World's Longest Flight - Qantas London to Sydney" taken by Sam Chui in YouTube. It is very interesting. Good Luck.

Hi Dennis, Thank you for your post regarding 3 awesome images of new Qantas aircraft B787-9 and it is so much appreciated. It just flew to Hong Kong in 4 times in a row and it is flying back to Melbourne tonight. Thanks again. From Cliff Cook.

Hi Kurt, Ah!, Thank you so much for your awesome images of new Qantas B787-9 (VH-ZNJ) landing on 34L, taxing to Hanger 96 and inside Hanger 96. It is so much appreciated. That aircraft has been flew to Hong Kong in 5 times in a row since it landed YSSY. So it is flying back but I don't know it will return to Sydney or Melbourne. Thanks again so much. Cheers, Cliff Cook.
