Default Qantas to adopt Boeing software

Qantas to adopt Boeing software

Qantas Airways’ fleet of 30 747-400 planes will be monitored by Boeing’s Airplane Health Management software in a move which will help the carrier manage unscheduled maintenance events.

The system provides Qantas with real time inflight data on the condition of its aircraft, including its rate of fuel burn. Qantas will use the AHM software for future 787 Dreamliner deliveries.
