Fatal accident at Moree Airport today
News just coming through of a light plane crash at Moree airport this evening.
A six seater aircraft flying from Brisbane has crashed at or near Moree airport with 4 fatalities and 2 seriously injured survivors. Always sad to hear/report on these incidents.

Just to follow up on the OP,
the aircraft had departed Brewarrina, not Brisbane as first thought. It came down approximately 2-300 m from the threshold at Moree and about 100m from a Caravan park which is quite lucky (in light of the terrible situation that it missed potentially alot of other people).
