Calibre Aviation in Emerald (Queensland)

For those interested, I managed to spend a bit of time at Calibre Aviation in Emerald this week. The company was formally known as Webb Helicopters/Central (Qld) Aviation.

At their landing site/hangars, I noted pretty much their entire fleet of choppers...
Robinson R-44 VH-HSF
Bell 206 VH-EWI
Williams UH-1H "Huey" VH-UEE
Aerospatiale AS.350B Squirrel VH-WEB
Aerospatiale AS.350B Squirrel VH-NBN
Kawasaki BK-117 VH-BKZ (still in Child Flight - NSW Ambulance Service - colours)
Robinson R-22s - VH-HRJ and VH-LTZ which are primarily used for heli-mustering.

Meanwhile at nearby Emerald Airport, Calibre Aviation's PA-32-300 VH-AMJ is stored.

Calibre recently played host to Sikorsky S-61 heavy-lift helicopter N45917 on loan from Heli-Aust to lift several power units into a nearby mine site.
