Default SYD airport closed this afternoon?

A few of our aircraft were held on the ground in Melbourne and in the air this afternoon inbound to Sydney due to airport closure. Apparently a boat had sunk in Botany Bay...anyone have anymore info?

I saw one half out of the water when approaching this arvo. Thought it was just some shipwreck....

So we landed when it was sinking, huh???

Airport wasn't closed, but with Polair 2 flying along the southern shores of Botany Bay and across both Rwy 34L/R approaches during the search, there were no arrivals allowed.
Some aircraft that were fuel critical opted to land on Rwy 16R/L. Operations were affected for maybe 20-30mins.

I'm not sure if they found the boat's occupant/s.
