Post Go cowboy!

Yes, it did strike me as a bit quaint in its wording! I had pretty much the same a/c shots as everyone else (but not as good!) so I tried to include in my selection some people pics and other non-aircraft pics: a few signs, some candid people (including 2nd officers waving), and of course the ATC Tower shots give a more rounded perspective of our two day 'feast of flight' including Friday evening.

Philip,

Great to see some of the other images, the Tower etc.

It looks like the Tiger A320 in 5271 is sucking up water from the puddle on the ground, a vortex into the engine. I noticed this on my shot and on
my video.

I just completed Anne's survey and suggested a location next to the Sydney VOR field would be ideal for an observation deck.

Default Hence its inclusion

Yes - the vortex is what I was zoomed in on with the preceding photo 5270 for some perspective. What I didn't catch on camera was that when the engine spooled up to continue its taxi, the balance of the puddle was completely 'vacuumed' up within a few seconds.

A few of mine from the weekend... Probably not upload quality for certain well-known websites but hey... I like them!

Again a massive thanks to all who participated, organised and made sure our day(s) were enjoyable.

Phil, Grahame, that vortex of water in through the engine is what I think of as a 'wine glass' effect because of its shape. On a rainy day it can be quite mesmerising watching the base of the wine glass 'dance' around the puddle as the water is sucked up through the engine. It's a very visual reminder to not get too close to the front of the intake!

Best place for a spotting area is the radar field.VOR field used to be great until it was ruined by the rental companies.
