RAAF C-130 Hercules A97-449 and A97-468 did a 500ft run down the Eastern Suburbs Beaches this morning, and down a far as the Royal National Park from what I could see. As they tracked down the coastline at Maroubra Beach, they were only just visible above the headlands.

RCAF C-130 Hercules 130603, Callsign ODSY2, was also in the air at the same time, however I only spotted two aircraft flying one behind the other.

RAAF C-17 A41-211 departed Richmond around the same time.

I saw them take off this morning at Richmond. The Canadian and 468 took off together and returned together about one hour later (performing an impressive low level battle break). The 449 went out about 15 minutes later or so and I did not see it come back (but I did not stay all day). So perhaps you saw 130603 and 468? Both A41-211 and 213 were flying missions as well from here.
Also noted C-130H A-1335 in full Indonesian AF colors by the way.

Thanks Jonathan, I am about 1.5km back from Maroubra Beach so it was hard to say which two aircraft they may have been - Sounds like you may be right though with 130603 and 468.
