The plane is really idle for just 1 day. The Monday MEL-LAX-MEL returns on Wednesday... then the Friday SYD-LAX-SYD returns on Sunday. So its only on Thursday that it gets a full day off.

Shameel,
My understanding is that Friday is Day 5. I am booked on QF11 on a Friday mid Dec. I hope I have that information correct AND that the schedule doesnt change again. Kind regards, Geoff |

It seems that seats between SYD and MEL (on a Monday from 26/10/08) on the QF A380 are not being sold (yet). Is that correct?

It is then out of revenue service for over 24 hours (1day) between Sudnay and Mondays flights. So it has around 3 days in AUS alone where it is not doing revenue flights. |

Because I am planning to take EK to AKL next Feb and their booking system shows "A380-800" And anyone has an idea how much will EK charge for a single ride F class to Auckland? Hope that would be affordable and comparable to QF/NZ's J service to beat them by having a shower and a bar on EK's A380 F/J Class. |

I do hate to be rude, but it really is as simple as doing a dummy booking on emirates.com
However, for some random dates in March, its $2152.11 return for 1 adult first class. edit: And february as well.
