Perhaps they have decided to cut costs as the grey weighs more?

Interesting - I have Jetstar's next three aircraft as c/n 3668 VH-VQC, c/n 3770 VH-VQB and c/n 3805 VH-VQA which are all new aircraft whereas CC-CZB is c/n 0990 and made its first flight in 1999.

Also, other sites show that Lauda leased CC-CZB to LAN for 5 years from 2005 so perhaps the lease has been terminated early and Jetstar jumped at the opportunity of acquiring another A320 to replace the cancelled third A321.

Maybe it was another 'rush' job as I heard the White A321 has/is currently been repainted into full JQ (silver Livery) at Richmond.....

According to Airfleets, LAN have a 5 year lease of this Aircraft from Lauda (Niki) which begun in Nov 2005.

http://www.airfleets.net/ficheapp/plane-a320-990.htm

They must have given it up with JQ taking it over.

The date on the pic shows Nov 07.

Maybe it's a typo by the uploader?
