Default Family Allowed on Flight Deck?

Reason is that someone at Qantas auctioned off there Staff travel to someone for 12 months, thus causing Qantas to ban all non essential people from the flight deck unless approved by the applicable aircraft manager. I think it has changed a little bit since I have left but when I was at QF, that's what the go was.

Not airlines, but in the RFDS it is entirely at the skipper's discretion.
