No point posting news on maybes, just like the trackers and the army blackhawks that were also meant to become fire busters after their ADF service. One also wonders what happened to the ten blackhawks from 2017 that Starflight would operate after they were imported and upgraded.

One of the biggest problems with social media is news being posted that’s not news or old news .

What about the N24-016 at Avalon, that wasn't rumor was it ?

A photo of N24-016 from Avalon in early 2019 would of been nice !

The actual ids of the a/c purchased other than VH-XHJ hadn't been posted to my knowledge.

ADF serials has all the details including N24-016s appearance at Avalon while the frame details were in the tender https://www.tenders.gov.au/atm/ShowC...viewMode=False

https://www.noosanews.com.au/news/ro...fence/3665320/ has a pic of N24-016 “fitted” with a tank (and long term storage blocks)
