There was no QF1 yesterday (Sunday) and no QF17 today (Monday), with QF11 being operated by 17's B744.

Thanks Lloyd, it looks like the Coulson C-130 (Lynden) transited into Richmond RAAF Base around 1030L today.

There is a DC10 which will be contracted to NSW this season. No idea when it is due however.

It was stated on ABC radio this morning that the 2xSkycranes and DC10 will be arriving in NSW next month ..

It was announced in July NSW would do a LAT /VLAT (very large aerial tanker) trial which is why they are here. Victoria did the same in 2009 and decided VLAT did not work for them.

VH-TQM came back from NZ yesterday and first flight of NZ 789 ZK-NZC yesterday.Pics on the blog below
