Default Air Chathams - what a classic

Sitting at Wellington and noticed a single check in desk for Air Chathams, so I thought I would find out more, what a classic fleet they have.

I think the Cessna is the youngest of the fleet, love the Convairs and DC3! Edit looks like the SAAB maybe the youngest, a spritely thirty years, the 206 is 40.

They sometimes sub a CV580 onto the Auckland / Whanganui route in lieu of the Saab when the passenger demand is high.
For NZ$99 each way it seems a pretty good way to get a trip on a CV580!
I might give it a go this summer when I'm over there. The trick is to pick a busy time and keep the fingers crossed!
Some of their DC-3 special trips look interesting too. Hmm. White Island eh?
