Here are some shots from earlier in the morning, when 99-6143 was parked on the new Kilo Apron (before being towed to DOM6 Bay 99), and then the departure later in the morning.

99-6143 is associated with United States Department of State Foreign Emergency Support Team activities. This is a quick-reaction transportation operation utilized by the Federal Emergency
Management Agency, the Domestic Emergency Support Team, and the Foreign Emergency Support Team to respond to terrorist incidents worldwide. The aircraft may also be utilized in conjunction
with the Special Activities Division of the Central Intelligence Agency. The squadron motto is "Non semper ea sunt quae videntur" which translates as "Not always what they seem". Arriving on Sunday evening around 1830L, 99-6143 spent its time at Sydney Airport parked on the new Kilo Apron.

Nice pics Grahame. Intriguing movement, given the squadrons motto 'Non semper ea sunt quae vindentur' which translates as "Not always what they seem".

Nice one Robert, I have been up close with this aircraft on several occasions - always a fan of the C208

VH-OEJ is the Qantas plane due to pick up the athletes from Rio.

It's tail is already adorned in an Olympic decal.

It's had a bit more work than just the tail

qantas.com has a QF6032 due to arrive in SYD at 0715 on Wednesday from GIG via SCL. If this isn't OEJ I will eat my hat!
