Does this mean Virgin will lose their low cost/budget carrier tags?

I've never understood how VB can call themselves a LCC when in some cases their fares are more expensive than QF.

Virgin were never a true LCC, and certainly haven't been for years now.

If they hadn't already lost the title, it had certainly gone when they introduced rewards programs, lounges and premium seats.
