By my calculations, they need the trip to go no longer than 15 hours 45 minutes. It's ambitious, but they might just make it.

No, I'm just a shift worker who was on duty when I made that post. Happy New Year, eh?

But I'm home now, and I'm enjoying my second beer to celebrate the new year. Don't ask me to calculate anything else...!

Does anyone have details of the bizjet(s) that flew SYD-CBR to meet the 744??

Stefan Perkas 1st January 2013 10:31 AM

Rowan,

According to the Coperate movements thread, both the Jetgo aircraft appeared to have been used. See the link below...

It may be equipped with spray equipment as the operator is shown as Stuttgart Mosquito Control.

Still at Bankstown Peter! Rego is VH-OTU (registered to Conway Bown http://www.regosearch.com/aircraft/au/OTU) parked up near Whitworth's

Maybe, Would the fuel be cheaper at SYD than CBR as with the economy of scale at SYD it could make supplying it cheaper to the airlines. Just a thought.

Zac M 1st January 2013 03:15 PM

It refuelled in CBR, something got stuffed up and a lot of it ended up all over the RAAF apron...
