Question without notice......
Why is VH-OGR stored at Alice Springs while the other QFA B767s are been sent to VCV? Is it likely that OGR is been kept close by in case of quick return to duty if needs arise. Also notice, during last nights ABC's "Australian Story" - Fiona O'Loughlin, from a scene at Alice Springs Airport were three Tiger A320s and the Air Nauru B737. Didn't see any red tails. |
It is possible that maybe OGN is bound for Westjet or has been sold to another operator already.

From the rumour I've heard, the four 'international' 767s are supposed to be the four that Westjet are taking. OGR is one of those. If true, it should be joined at Westjet by OGS, OGT and OGU. Makes sense Westjet would want these four as they're probably slightly lower hours / cycles than others.

Have been looking at next years aircraft usage on the Syd-Mel v.v. route. Seems all are 737's
Is there any plan to use A330's as they had 767s on the route at certain times |

Interestingly, QF are ramping up the frequency of SYD-MEL services significantly post December 2014 with a constant 15 min service interval throughout the day. |
VH-OGJ was withdrawn from service on Monday, 6th October.
The QF 763 fleet is now down to seven aircraft (OGI, OGL, OGM, OGO, OGS, OGT and OGU). |

- 2x Tiger A319 - 2x Tiger A320 (or 321?) - 1x Nauru B737 (734?) - 1x QANTAS B763 - 1x Private B757 (with wingtip extensions) In about 2 months we have gone from a very empty field to the start of a decent storage facility... |
The Former Our Airline/Naura Airlines is VHINU B733, and tiger has only operated either the A319/20 :)

What's the 757? Do you know the rego Geoff?
