Greg Hyde 4th October 2022 08:35 AM

N953UW is on the way again after going tech on its previous ferry attempt.

Currently at SDM.

James Smith 4th October 2022 10:08 AM

N953UW is now an hour and a half into its flight from SDM to HNL as QQ9811.

Dennis McLean 4th October 2022 03:23 PM

Landed 1 hour ago.

lloyd fox 4th October 2022 06:44 PM

In tomorrow at 1630 hrs at BNE.:)

Dennis McLean 5th October 2022 09:10 PM

It got to MAJ from HNL and stopped.

Greg Hyde 7th October 2022 01:50 PM

N953UW still hasn't left MAJ.

May of gone tech again ?

Dennis McLean 8th October 2022 07:29 AM

I guess so Greg. However, N946UW has completed a test flight SJO/SJO UTY9812 on Friday local time 1.14pm/2.29pm, landed 1 hour ago.

Greg Hyde 11th October 2022 08:29 AM

N946UW is scheduled to depart SJO today as UTY9812.

I wonder if it is carrying spares for the one stuck at MAJ ?

Terry Zadow 11th October 2022 08:38 AM

Let's see if 946 stops in MAJ as well!!! The thought crossed my mind that it might be cheaper to park those not wanted yet somewhere other than Australia. Then again it is probably carrying spares. I guess we'll see in a day or so.

Terry, I had a similar thought when it didn't appear on this weeks VH-Reg update.

MarkR 11th October 2022 12:05 PM

No long term parking in MAJ regardless, very limited apron space

Rowan McKeever 12th October 2022 11:05 AM

SEF has filed to position to BNE at 1140 local today as QQ9815.

James Smith 12th October 2022 02:20 PM

SEF is on its way to BNE but cruising at 15,000 for the first 28 minutes and has now climbed to 21,000 with a speed of 340 knots which is the fastest it has flown, as yet of this flight. Maybe a little maintenance awaits in BNE.

Greg Hyde 14th October 2022 11:53 AM

N953UW/QQ9811 is scheduled to complete its ferry to Brisbane tomorrow morning at around 10:00.

Something different a daylight QQ arrival.

Rowan McKeever 14th October 2022 08:50 PM

UYZ is on a test flight at Bratislava. Operating with a Southern Cross flight number and callsign so one assumes the intent is for it to return to Australia fairly soon.

I looked at that before commenting - looks like last update was a while ago as none of the UZ* are listed?

James Smith 18th October 2022 07:56 AM

N946UW has just arrived in HNL as QQ9812.

Greg Hyde 18th October 2022 09:23 AM

From the image posted yesterday, it looks like VH-XVL is nearing flight-ready at BTS.

Dylan Hardie 18th October 2022 01:07 PM

There are 16 AA machines of which the youngest 6 have received UZ regos, 955UW to 967UW, which leaves 10 to go. 951UW is XVM and 954UW is XVQ. so here is my thinking. From the oldest - 944UW should be XVB, 945 - E, 946 - F, 947 - J, 948 - K, 950 - L, 952 - O and 953 - P. Any comments??

It looks like XVE/F were allocated to 2 x Hawker Hunters on 11/10/22.

UYZ returned to Oz (Darwin) on 17/10/22.

Looks like it recommence ops from Darwin STC

Dennis McLean 19th October 2022 01:58 PM

Hi Greg, thanks. I have seen a recent photo of an E190 in SJO which was showing VH-XVT on the rear of the fuselage, I understand that it was N953UW, which arrived a few days ago with the Australian registration taped over. Who knows now what the rest of the AA ones will be, not in any order perhaps????

Greg Hyde 20th October 2022 12:43 PM

After the recent activity, these seems to be the a/c awaiting delv:

ROW N945UW, N947UW
SJO N934QQ, N944UW, N948UW, N952UW
BTS VH-XVL
