So today's flaunted display flight from MEL-OOL-MEL was cancelled. Now this, I hope none of you were booked on the inaugural revenue flight meant for 13 November MEL-CNS has now been pushed back to 14 November. The November 13 flight will now be operated with an A320.

According to the JQ website Nov 13 flight to OOL is still a Dreamliner service, no Dreamliner service to OOL on Nov 14.

Right looks like the wires were crossed.

Earlier today Jetstar posted on their FaceBook page today that Dreamliner flights will begin on Nov 14th.

They have since confirmed on Twitter that this is wrong and that the JQ432 on Nov 13 is still scheduled to fly..

Secondly, how could I have been invited to cover the first revenue flight on November 13 if it didn't exist?

From the very beginning the inaugural flight has been MEL-OOL-MEL on November 13th.
