How much was your return flight, Ryan?
|
REX
Flights were $85 each way. Total $170
|
Ryan, nice pics but I noticed in both take off's it appears flaps were not used (or don't appear to have been used) that I could see. Not having flown a SAAB yet to observe first hand, anyone with 340B knowledge?

How was the trolley dolly, Ryan?
|
REX
Nothing wrong with the trolley dolly. On a flight that short I was not expecting her to serve any drinks etc to the passengers.

Are you referring to DM? |
Saab
I was hoping David would be part of the crew of that flight, but I think he was in Sydney at that time.

The Saab only uses Flap 0 or Flap 15 for take off. Usually out of the ports with longer runways (SYD, MEL, BNA, ADL etc) flap 0 is used. However sometimes with runway length, the condition of the surface (being wet or dry), take off weight, etc, flap 15 may need to be used. |

You'd love a Bangladesh airline I know. :D David.M. |
Ryan I saw your photos on Myaviation which brings back memories of my first ever flight which was on Kendell Saab 340A VH-KDK Adelaide to Kingscote way back in 1992. That aircraft is still in service today.
I lived in Wynyard (Tasmania) right near the airport for the last 2 weeks because of a project I was involved out there and I saw VH-ZRZ 5 times this week and several other newer Saabs. Lotsa photos uploaded on Myaviation.net of the Saabs and other little machines. |
