Matt Hall gets first win in Red Bull Air Race
 

Not much coverage locally but well down to Matt for getting his first win in the Red Bull event at Spielberg Austria Here hoping his other venture wins with getting Pelican bank up and running as an airport.

Great win for Matt, would be nice if a podium finish can be achieved in the final two races will get one of the state govt. into action to bring it back to Australia :)

Canberra would be a good venue I would have thought.

They are trying to bring the race to Lake Macquarie up here near Newcastle..

That would have been my other suggestion given Matts involvement with Belmont, which no doubt will become Race Central!

Matt bags another win, falling short in the championship to finish the year second.

Looking forward to the 1st round tonight and tomorrow, lucky enough to be catching tomorrow's action in Abu Dhabi in person, my first RBAR in the flesh.

A couple of shots from the event, as I arrived with only a few hours to go I shot what I could from my hotel rather than get a ticket. The haze did me no favours, and it was disappointing to see Matt go out on his first run of the day after hitting a pylon.
