Unfortunately Dave, this isn't such an unusual ATIS. Laser illumination events occur quite often. I don't know how people find that fun...

Idiots like them that give us plane spotters a bad name,
and possibly make plane spotting illegal....

There was an Air Ambo who reported "a face full of green laser from the Cronulla area" last week during curfew, so it appears the same clowns think it's funny to have a repeat performance.

I hope they catch them and string them up by the gonads.

I couldn't agree more ... In my innocence I thought perhaps it was some sort of laser display or event that was happening ..

Happened a couple of times here at NZAA last week.

One of the crews knew the area and pretty much pinpointed the house it came from.

Bloody idiots.
