Police are on their way to the Gold Coast's Dreamworld theme park where a helicopter has crashed in the theme park's car park.

Four passengers and a pilot were on board when the aircraft crashed in the west car park.

All five are believed injured, but the condition of injuries is unknown.

More to come

Ten news implied that there was 20knott winds and bad turbulence as a possible contributing factor to the crash.

Ten Late new edition just reported that the helicopter lost power as it was coming into land and then the pilot guided it to an empty section of the car park. A great job from the pilot avoiding any serious injury to persons inside and outside!
VH-JTI is the helicopter in question i believe.
