Expect to see more of them in SYD!! I have been told that they are going to replace the whole fleet with 8x J41's (all to come from USA) & the Aeropelican scheme will disappear & be replaced by the Brindabella one!

Heard the same about replacing Aeroduck J32's with J41's.

Why would they replace the Aeropelican scheme instead of vice versa when Aeropelican took over Brindabella...

Brindabella hads a far more relevant name from a marketing point of view, especially as the Pelican/Belmont airport no longer has commercial services.

AeroPel was a great service. Flew many times . The Otters were great from a short strip.
Started my PPL at Pelican, had to watch for double-decker busses on finals. |

Hmmm I don't think many Novocastrians would feel that way branding wise. Im not sure many have heard of Brindabella, no association with the region. But anyway, I still miss YPEC twin otters. :-)
