VH-XNH was retired from service 14th June? So now it’s an all airbus freight fleet?

If XNH doesn't return to service, it will be an all Airbus fleet with more A321's to come.

Could Qantas convert more of the Jetstar A321s since they will be replaced by LR/XLRs?

B734F VH-XNH looks as though it has returned to service operating QF7308 MEL-ADL on the morning of 3/7/24 and returning ADL-MEL as QF7380 on turnaround.
It then operated QF7357 MEL-HBA early this morning 4/7/24 and is scheduled to operate HBA-MEL in the early hours of tomorrow morning 5/7/24 with the same flight number. Does anyone know if XNH's return is temporary to stand in for an unserviceable freighter or has it been having some essential maintenance since 14/6/24 and is now returning on light duties before its retirement later in the year? James, my guess it was returned to service because they were short on capacity.
XF6 arrived a week late and has yet to enter service. I expect XNH will remain an operational spare until XF6 is bedded into service. |

Thanks Greg. My thoughts as well. No use sending her to BXM prematurely when problems can quickly cause unserviceabilities. Interesting that they retired the B733Fs before retiring the B734F. It could have been related to hours and avoiding additional maintenance costs but still gives them a little more capacity.

XNH retirement is slated for August this year. The aircraft has been on extended maintenance at the moment. The reason behind leaving the last B734 in service is due to capacity on the main deck. It is not too much difference to the A321
