I just had a quick look at VA's wikipedia page, I didn't know they are already down to only 4x 737-700's left in the fleet, assuming that is correct?

I believe the fleet of 777's, 330's and 737's currently sits at 99. I can't find any info online to whether the next plane due is an A332 or B738?
Hopefully we'll get a special scheme either way..

yep VBV,U,Y,Z all of them have had business installed as these are here for a short while, from Australian Business Traveler

"we have four 737-700 aircraft that have undergone a refurbishment to now include business class," a Virgin spokesperson confirmed to Australian Business Traveller.
"These aircraft were reconfigured to the same standard of our Boeing 737-800 to ensure consistency of product and service to our guests. We expect these four 737-700 aircraft will exit our fleet by the end of the year. Virgin Australia expects to retire all of its Boeing 737-700 aircraft by the end of 2013, and will take delivery of 31 Boeing 737-800s between 2013 and 2016."

The only aircraft that I could find scheduled for delivery are the skywest ATR's however I do remember reading somewhere that the a330 is due sometime in march/april 2013.

It seems that the repaint has come to a halt since May 2012 - however I read it on VA source a couple of days ago that 77W VH-VPD has gone to Singapore for heavy maintenance since 2/2 - has she gone for a repaint?

Each of the 77Ws with the exception of VPH had their heavy maintenance done in AKL last year, but VPH was repainted in SIN instead.
