In the whole scheme of things, if it not being used and they have other frames for spares, why keep it.

Looks like Jetblue are speeding up the disposals of the E190's to Alliance. |

My understanding is the KBX is owned by Alliance chairman Steve Padgett rather than Alliance itself. Alliance had maintained the aircraft and leased it from time to time presumably when it could secure a charter.

I think they were trying to get some lucrative contracts and some Captains choice tours with the aircraft. Thus the purchase of the F70.

Wondering if it was for the Crows who play at Blundstone today.

Australia's Alliance Airlines sees E190 delivery delays: Alliance Airlines (QQ, Brisbane International) is experiencing delays in the delivery of thirty E190s purchased from AerCap in 2023, causing the closed charter specialist to revise down its spending commitments this year.
In an April 26 Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) filing, Alliance said it had expected to spend AUD182-204 million Australian dollars (USD119-133 million) this calendar year settling the purchase of 17 of the 30 aircraft. https://www.ch-aviation.com/news/139...elivery-delays |

Good. We may stop seeing "E190's" replace 717's for a while...
2x "A220's" so far and 13x 717's gone. |

All the 717's will be gone by years end from a post I read online yesterday.

That is why QF wanted to up the rate of E190 leases from QQ so they remove the B717's faster. Also to cover any problems with A220 delivery delays.
