Afternoon all,
Cebu Pacific will begin Manila-Sydney flights from 9/9/14. They will operate 4 flights a week using all economy A330-300's. Flights will operate in/out of Sydney on Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Timetable as follows... With both PR and 5J now operating services to Sydney, It makes you wonder if QF will still operate their own services to Manila...

just had a look at the price of the tix $143 return!!!!!! Cheaper than flying to Newcastle!!!!

Qantas will still operate to Manila. It will allow them to recover some of the ferry cost when they send aircraft for maintenance...

ADL - SIN too, but they'll say it was replaced with a code shared ADL - DXB for people going to Europe (but as if any sane person wants to fly economy in an Emirates 777) and Jetstar going to Denpasar for the leisure market (but as if any sane person wants to endure a flight of that length in a Jetstar A320, or go to Bali).

Cebu Pacific from 10DEC14 will be adding 5th weekly rotation on Manila – Sydney route, with new flight operating on Wednesdays. This service is scheduled to begin on 09SEP14, on board Airbus A330-300 aircraft.
