Default Qantas domestic flight operated by B747-400

This occurs now and again.....

As I write, VH-OJR is about to land back in Sydney after operating QF 577 / 566 SYD-PER-SYD

must be a u/s 743 somewhere in the network.

OJR operates QF 149 to LAX in the morning.

Does it matter if we get a 743 / 744 on the route? The 743 now flies up to Singapore and back.......

Will be interesting to see when the A380's come on line if we will see 744 on the west - to - coast corridor?

I was on that flight last night, had seat 37K which turned out to be a new Premium Economy seat.

Banjo

ps flight over on Wednesday was only 122 bods on a 767

(hint: to check boarding numbers just look at the computer screen as you walk through the gate)

the 743 doing PER-SIN hasn't changed in 3 weeks, only a/c they are using on that route seems to be VH-EBX, overnight in Singapore then back to Perth in the morning.

-OEB did the same trip today.

We usually see a 744 on the thursday QF566/577 rotation (in recent times) only. Having said that its normally a 2-class bird

3/4 class 744s have been operating QF25/26 most days recently too.. I believe both -OJE and -OJI are out of service.
