It's always a shame to see a bird leave our skies but it happens. If I'm not mistakened this is Qantas' oldest current aircraft in the fleet having being built in 1988. QF 767's seem to be sold quickly and easily going by OGA/OGC/OGD so VH-OGB probably won't stay too long..

And HNL is the last remaining INTL port serviced by the B763. Apparently HNL will revert to an A330 from the end of the year.

OGB is sitting at the Jetbase along the fence at QF Drive for anyone who is interested.

Is there room for a photo op? Even if it is just the tail and the rego?

Yes there is. It is right at the Jet Base entrance so it is probably at the best position for a photo. You might have a fence obscuring a little but it should be a good photo op, depending where you are standing.

Very pleased I was able to fly on her a few months back. Despite the age (and the old seat covers) the cabin felt no older than the much newer OGR I had on the way back.
Maybe I wasn't looking hard enough Out of interest, this is the last 763 to leave the fleet that was delivered in the original 3 class configuration, with P and J separated by a divider down the middle, as opposed to across the cabin. OGA, OGB, OGC and OGD were delivered in this layout |
