CX111 3/12/2011 Missed Approach?
Not sure if I need new glasses. I was driving along Anzac Bridge this morning and saw CX111 on approach to the airport. Nothing unusual there. Then about 20 minutes later I was near Haberfield and I was sure I saw another CX plane about to land. It couldn't have been CX161 because that's too early.
Could this have been a 2nd attempt at landing? |

Not sure if it was a go around or missed approach but the rego was B-LAK .
Caught a bad quality image of it... Last edited by Shayne G; 3rd December 2011 at 11:36 AM. |

It was far too high on approach and they said they'd need another shot at it even though the pilot didn't sound too worried.

That would explain the 2nd CX sighting.
