Default Qantas to Dallas?

Interesting discussion on pprune regarding this...Qantas to DALLAS

Whilst pprune is not always the greatest source of reliable information, some of the posters seem pretty adamant. There is also a mention of BKK-AMS using A332s.

A lot of members of this forum seem to be quite well informed about things like new routes and aircraft orders, so anyone got anymore info?

Hoping it comes true...QF mainline hasn't really expanded into new markets for a while.

A DFW service has been brought up over the years. I think it will happen once the 787's come on line I hope.

There're always rumours on PPRuNe about Qantas starting routes into Oneworld hubs. I am not aware of any that have turned out to be true.
