By all means, please let me know what you all think. Hopefully you'll enjoy them

And I wanna take this opportunity to thank all the volunteers on duty yesterday, and to HARS, for making yesterday possible, and fostering the interests of aviation to all generations.

Grahame,

Excellent shots!

The 3rd photo of the Morava, is that VH-EMV?

The former Ansett-ANA machine

Nice work yourself Maikha, there were some good opportunities to shoot an aircraft on the apron, with another aircraft taking off in the background. It was a real shame that it was overcast for most of the day, particularly when the F-18 was performing.

I was using a Nikon D300 with Nikkor AF-S VR 70-200 1:2.8 G ED and TC-14E 1.4 Teleconverter, and a Nikon D200 with Nikkor AF-S 17-55 1:2.8 G ED. Interestingly enough, I was standing right behind Steve Castle (Head of Service at Nikon Australia) while waiting in the entry queue, we had met previously at Nikon.

I was not sure what to expect from the event, but I must say I was pleasantly surprised, and would definitely go again next year.

Thanks for Sharing Guys - Great pics.

Maikha - I like your approach to photographing aircraft. my favourites are your third shot of the Connie staircase and the shot from the forward stairs.
