Default 767s in ADL

Hi everyone.

I'm booked on an ADL-MEL flight with Qantas next February and the flight has just been changed from a 734 to a 763. I was wondering how common it was for QF to use 767's on domestic runs between ADL and MEL? I was under the impression it was all 737's and a Q400 a few times a week.

Thanks.

It is quite common during sporting events but more so during the northern dry season. During that time the aircraft generally operates MEL-ADL-DRW-ADL-MEL

Thanks Dan. There's a day/nighter cricket match in Adelaide the day before between Australia and India, so that may have something to do with it.

G'day Ryan

767s are common on MEL-ADL-DRW-ADL-MEL and SYD-ADL-SYD during winter... up to something like 10 a week IIRC. Not so much in summer though usually.
