Default RAAF Milestones

The RAAF farewells the C130H today after 34 years service.

And the P3C deployment to the Middle East has been completed with the final
aircraft returning to RAAF Edinburgh earlier this week.

Congratulations to the RAAF on two outstanding achievements.

Cheers

Bob

I don't know whether it was connected, but between 0830 and 0900 this morning two Hercs flying close together buzzed Mount Druitt at a very low altitude. They did around 6 laps at a fairly rapid pace over the suburb, each time heading towards the RAAF base.

It's been years since I've seen this happen. Maybe they keep them away from residential areas nowadays to stop the whinge(r)s?
