Default My new toy finally arrives

Been planning this flight for many many weeks and finally my new toy arrived from Toowoomba to Bankstown.

The weather on the flight went from 15kt head wind to 15kt tail wind.

216kts ground speed over Richmond

Did you purchase it Andrew?

Looks reasonably tidy outside.

Yes.
I have owned a few aircraft over the years and this is by far in the best condition. 2 year old paint. Spent most of that time in a hanger. Leather. Working COLD aircon, radar and everything works

The HF aerial snapped like a whip in the run up bays at Toowoomba which scared the crap out of us all but it was sorted.

Those McCauley prop STC's really make a difference to the flight and its so quiet inside compared to the normal ones

TTX.
was owned by a mining company for their corporate staff but it started to get used less and less because the airlines were cheaper and they are now wanting to get rid of the 2 aircraft they owned this being one of them. Not sure what the other one was but i think maybe an old 310.

Quite nice Andrew.

Any photo's of the panel? Wouldn't mind seeing the avionics setup.

For hire by experienced Chieftain pilots?

Hi Mick,
Ill take one of the Panel today (saturday) and post it. My camera died so i was using my phone to take those pictures.

Its parked out near the terminal now but it will be around with Winrye's from Monday getting the HF aerial fixed if you wanted to have a look at it

If you want to you use it let me know.
