Changing from Jetstar to Qantas flight
Hi all
I booked a flight with Jetstar a few weeks back for around $400, as they were cheaper than a comparable Qantas flight by about $100. Last week I noticed that Qantas have re-introduced some Red e-deal tickets for a flight about 15 minutes after the one I booked, and are are actually cheaper than the Jetstar ticket I purchased. Is there any chance of me being able to change to the Qantas flight without (much) penalty? Shaun. |

Qantas and Jetstar are operated independently Unless you booked the Jetstar flight though Qantas's website which I believe isn't possible without connecting QF>JQ I would doubt you'd be able to change between brands without paying the QF fare and forfeiting the JQ fare.

Thanks for your reply. If it helps, I did book the Jetstar flight through the Qantas website as a return flight for my trip.
