Default Possible test flights 787-9 & C-Series

Jon Ostrower tweeting that Bombardier C-Series hoped to fly Monday & Boeing 787-9 hoped to fly Tuesday (factory local times)... fingers crossed this plays out!

BOE215 has filed a flight plan for 1700PDT, should be the JQ 787 first flight

C-Series is confirmed to fly 'today'... live broadcast starts at 9.30am factory time (I think 11.30pm here?) on www.cseriesfirstflight.bombardier.com

Those Geared Turbofans certainly have a unique sound to them on takeoff, they seem quiet but that might just be down to some trickery in the editing process?

Ridiculously quiet, sounded more like a PT6 engine.

I can understand now, how Porter want to use them into Toronto's city airport.
