Default USAF Boeing E-10A new identity

Hi all,
Just a quick note to say the E-10A program that was reported dead seems to be gathering momentum and the aircraft performed a testflight today under a new registration. Looks like she's off to Bahrain.

As the E-10A for USAF:

And today as A9C-HMH

G'day Scott

Beautiful pic that second one - amazing light!

I'm headed to LA and DC for a few days in Feb and might have a free day to pop up your way for a day of spotting - I'll let you know when I have more details.

Cheers

Hey Andrew,
Give me a shout out when you have the dates. I have another shoot at El Centro NAF with the Blue Angeles in late Feb and will probably spend some time at LAX before or after.
Scott.

Default e10a

People,
The E10A programme is still buried due to budget restraints and this 767 was deemed surplus and sold to the Bahrain Royal Flight.

It is due to have an internal refit for it's new duties then be delivered to Bahrain.

Regards CC

Geez...I'm guessing there'll be a fair amount of military specific gear that will need to be removed from that aircraft prior to going to Bahrain!

She's currently void of anything on the inside so shouldn't be too long at all.
Scott.
