Default LA Galaxy visit this week (Photos)

I heard that the LA Galaxy team are supposed to be playing a soccer match in Newcastle this weekend.

I know they were here before but can't remember how they travelled.

Anyone have info re special charter or will they travel on scheduled airlines (QF, VA, DL UA)?

Definately coming via Sydney. They are due to arrive Thursday morning. Don't have any further info at this stage.

Arrive on QF tomorrow morning (they are a match sponsor - 35 J class fares) and then on a charter flight to Williamstown in the morning. Not sure who will operate the charter.

That would be Williamtown, I have heard that it will be a QF jet doing the charter to Willy (as QF is one of the major sponsors).

Def travelling via Sydney, press conference in Syd before departure to Willy.

Thank you all, yes I forgot Qantas was a sponsor.

Go for it Kieran, I'm sure there will be others.

Don't watch much soccer but do remember that great free kick from Beckham at the ANZ Stadium from memory.
I wonder if he still has the goods as he doesn't play in all of their games.

He definately still has the goods.. He scored a cracker a few weeks back from a free kick in the MLS. Shame they didn't get any further than the semi finals..

I was there at that game, and was down the end where the free kick/goal was. I was totally gobsmacked with how he did it! Should be a good game in Newcastle on Sunday. If there were any cheap tix left I'd drive up the freeway for it...

LA Galaxy arrived at 8am, were then bussed from International to Hangar 96 for a welcome and media event.

The team then departed to Willy on a chartered Q400 VH-QOT around 10.30am.

(Victoria Beckham is not in Australia, nor travelling with David during this campaign)
